-First of all, please tell us a brief introduction and your biography up to now.

Hoshino: After graduating from Nagoya University of Arts, I have been performing and teaching flute.
-Have you ever attended a seminar?Have you been abroad?

Hoshino: I have traveled abroad, but this is the first time I have attended a seminar.
-What made you want to go to this class?

Hoshino: I participated because I wanted new stimuli for my own performances and those who teach.
-How many participants were there? What kind of people were participating?

Hoshino: Vincent Lucas sensei's class had 9 students, 3 of whom were Japanese, and Philippe Bernold sensei's class had 11 students, 2 of whom were Japanese.About half of them were Asian such as Korea and Taiwan.
-What kind of person was sensei?

Hoshino: Lucas sensei thinks singing is important, so sing, blow, sing, blow, sing, blow...he said that he should be able to sing all the etudes.
Bernold sensei places great importance on basic practice, and he practiced breathing exercises and scales.
-Is there anything about your teaching style that left an impression on you?

Hoshino: Both sensei value how you use your body, whether you can breathe properly, and whether you can sing the melody. When I teach my students, when I say, "Put down your instrument and try singing" or "Try taking a deep breath," the students' sounds change.I am taking what I have learned quickly.
-Did you get along with your classmates?

Ms. Hoshino: Yes, we became really good friends. We ate lunch together on the school terrace, and after the lesson, we went to the city together.
-What was the schedule for the seminar?

Hoshino: Vincent Lucas sensei had a 9-minute lesson per person from 14:45 to 1:4. We had four lessons in one week.
Bernold sensei always had a basic practice in the morning, and then had a 30-minute lesson for each person.
It was from 9:16 to 17:4 and XNUMX:XNUMX in the evening.Bernold sensei also had a total of four lessons.
-What did you do outside of the lessons?

Hoshino: Except for my own lessons, I listened to other classes, went to see other classes' lessons, and practiced. After the lesson, we went sightseeing.
-Did you go see NICE CLASSIC LIVE?

Hoshino: Yes, it was an outdoor stage, but it was really beautiful, and the sound of the wind, the voices of the birds, and the performance were wonderful.
-In what language did you take the lesson?

Hoshino: I received it in French and English.
-Did you have the opportunity to perform in public (concerts, competitions, etc.) during the course?

Hoshino: I was selected by Bernold sensei to participate in the completion concert.
Since the audience is from overseas, the reaction was very good, which was great.A lot of customers came too.
-Where did you practice? How long have you been able to practice?

Hoshino: I was using the practice room at the conservatoire. It was hot as there is no cooler.Mosquitoes would come in if the windows were open, so it would have been nice to have insect repellent.
I listened to most of the lectures, so I practiced for about three hours at the most.
-How was the city? (Security, people's appearance, appearance, etc.)

Hoshino: I didn't encounter any pickpockets, and people from the town talked to me.
-Have you been to play somewhere?

Hoshino: We went to the beach, the old town, and Place Massena. There was a famous gelato shop with about 50 types of gelato, and I went there many times.
-How was the accommodation facility? (Number of rooms, air conditioning, toilet / bath, washing method, TV, etc.)

Hoshino: It's a single room.It was hot because there was no air conditioner, but there was a refrigerator and the shower and toilet were not broken, so I was able to use them without any problems.
-How did your accommodation and training venue move?

Hoshino: I went there on foot or by bus.It was difficult to walk because it was a road with many slopes.
It depends on the bus time, but sometimes it's faster to walk.
-How was the meal at the Conservatoire?

Hoshino: It was really delicious. It was delicious with lots of vegetables and fruits. There was also rice, and the croissant for breakfast was very delicious.
-What kind of people were your classmates?

Hoshino: They were all very sociable and good kids. Most of the students were around the age of 20.
-Did you have any problems while studying abroad?

Ms. Hoshino: There were many times when I couldn't understand the language in the lessons and on the street, so I thought it would be good to study English more.
-Did you have any moments when you were happy to attend the seminar?

Hoshino: Everything...
I felt that it was a very valuable experience to experience sensei singing in French with the sound as words, the French that I heard while living in France, and the performance of songs made by French people. .
Anyway, it was a lot of fun.Everyone was friendly and I enjoyed interacting with people from different countries.
