After graduating from Freiburg University of Music and Cologne University of Music, German pianist Andreas Frerich has won numerous awards at international piano competitions such as Senigaria, Milan, Vienna and Finale Rigre.Immediately after that, he became a busy pianist who traveled to concert tours at well-known theaters both in Germany and abroad.As a soloist, he has also built a career as a chamber musician while co-starring with well-known orchestras around the world.He continues his playing activities as a pianist for the Mendelssohn trio in Berlin and the Vienna ensemble.He has also released over 30 CDs, many of which have won music awards.He continues to captivate the audience, both in concerts and recordings.Currently, while taking a professorship at the University of Music in Cologne, he holds a master class at the Mozartium Summer Music Workshop held in Salzburg every year.His very high quality lessons have a reputation for guiding his young talent, and many of his students have won and runner-ups in international competitions.He himself is the artistic director and chairman of the judging committee of the Amadeo International Piano Competition, so he can be said to be a strong leader in the competition.It is one of the sensei that I would definitely recommend to those who are thinking of taking the competition in the future.
