Miles Griffith played the role of Jesse in the 1994 Pulitzer Prize-winning jazz oratorio "Blood on the Field" and became world famous.His ability to use his voice like percussion is said to be on par with Vocalese pioneer Eddie Jefferson.Musicians who nominate him as a member of recordings and tours have continued to perform with Paul Simon, the Quier of Harlem, and Wynton Marsalis, who are regulars at the Grammy Awards.Of course, he is also active in his own activities and has released four leader albums.While he is active on the front lines as an active vocalist, he also has a wealth of teaching experience as an educator.He has taught at City University of New York, Long Island University, and the Froningen Conservatory in the Netherlands for over 4 years each, and until recently he was an assistant professor at the University of New York, an associate professor at Queens College of New York, Aaron Copeland Conservatory, and City College of New York Music.
