Originally from Los Angeles, Edward Auer grew up learning piano and composition under his father, a violinist accompaniment.An exceptionally talented man, he played Mozart's piano quartet and Schumann's quintet with his father at the age of eight.The young but mature piano surprised the audience.After that, he won awards in numerous competitions in the Los Angeles area.Growing up and studying music deeper at the Juilliard School and Paris, he finally won a prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.It was the first American achievement in history.In addition to the Chopin International Piano Competition, he has won the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, the Beethoven Competition in Vienna, the Queen Elizabeth Award in Brussels, and the Marguerite Competition in Paris.He achieved brilliant results and started his career as a pianist.In addition to more than 8 concerts in Poland, the Chopin Interpreter has held solo recitals and concerts in 20 countries on five continents.He has performed with world-renowned conductors, composers and prestigious orchestras.Currently, while teaching at Indiana University Jacobs Conservatory, he is a judge at the prestigious international piano competition.
