Learn the depth and breadth of music from the cellist who has been on the world stage as a chamber musician after working as the chief cellist of the Royal Flanders Philharmonic Orchestra.
Born into a music family, Didier Poskin naturally began to take an interest in music from a very young age.With his innate talent and intensive training, he quickly developed his talent and made his debut as a soloist at the age of 13.After studying at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, he entered the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Conservatory of Music, known for training young and talented musicians. During his three years at school, he was taught by Professor Edmund Belt and soon became the leading star student of Professor Belt.Even after graduating from the same school, he studied under the great cello masters while moving to Zurich, Paris and Cologne to improve his performance.This experience has brought diversity to my musicality.In the early days of his professional career, he was appointed Principal Cellist of the Royal Flanders Philharmonic Orchestra and has been a member of the orchestra for several years.After that, he was invited to the Verdi Quartet in Cologne and became devoted to chamber music.During the 3 years of this ensemble activity, he traveled the world and recorded songs by many major composers.In particular, the complete version of Schubert's quartet has received high praise.Currently, as a professor at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, he fully conveys his rich experience and passion for music to his students.
