Learn the secrets of the art from a master who has been playing the pipe organ of a historic church for a long time.
Born in Clermont-Ferrand, France in 1942, Jean-Paul Amber studied piano and organ and became an organist at the church of St. Jeanne d'Arc at the age of 15.He laid the foundations for his career as a performer under the teachings of Pierre Cochereau and Jean Guillo in Paris, with regular concerts.He holds recitals not only in France but also in European countries and the United States.He was active in music. He was appointed Deputy Organist of the Church of St. Justache from 71 to 93.During this time, he has been repairing the pipe organ for more than 10 years, and at that time he continued to work steadily, accompaniment to the St. Ustersch Choir and holding concerts. In 1988, he was honored to perform at the opening concert of the World Organist Conference at King's College, University of Cambridge.He also invited prominent organists from all over the world to organize and host numerous concerts, he was appointed to be responsible for the Croiker Organ of Notre Dame de Neige in Alpeduez. From 97 to 2006, he became the organist of Notre Dame Perpetue Scoo in Paris.He is also a professor at Schola Cantorum, teaching renewals.In 2014, he was awarded the French Order of Arts and Culture Chevalier in recognition of his long-standing achievements as an organist.
