Kentaro Yoshii has been the chief cellist for more than 30 years at the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, a world-famous orchestra alongside the Vienna Philharmonic.It can be said that Japan is one of the world-class artists. Yoshii, who began to demonstrate his cello talent from an early age, went to the high school of Tokyo University of the Arts and studied under Takayuki Miki, who was known as the chief cellist of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.After graduating from high school, studied abroad in Vienna to master authentic music.I am studying at both the Vienna City Conservatory and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, which are said to be the highest peaks.He studied under Professors Huebner and Josef Luitz at the Conservatory, and Wolfgang Herzer, who is famous as a Viennese virtuoso at the University of Music. Polished. In 1973, just three years after studying abroad, he passed the audition for the prestigious Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Yoshii was the first oriental member to recognize the cello's ability in this orchestra, which had a conservative climate like other orchestras in Vienna.Six years later, he became the chief cellist and is active internationally in Europe, the United States, and Japan, including the Wiener Musikverein and the Konzerthaus.
