Christoph Poppen Former Professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, Germany/Violin Lessons

City: Munich

Former Professor of the University of Music in Munich, Germany and former Director of the Hanns Eisler University of Music, Christoph Poppensensei, leads the way with online violin lessons

Not only the violin, but also the music learned from the talented violinist who is active as an artistic director and conductor of the Munich International Music Competition is attractive.
Christoph Poppen is one of the most versatile artists of his generation. He won numerous competitions at a young age, played as first player with the Cherubini Quartet for two years, and then began conducting. As artistic director, he gave the Munich Chamber Orchestra a new career, and as founding conductor, he led the Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern Deutsche Radio Philharmonic Orchestra into a new era. He continues to guest conduct orchestras in Hong Kong, Germany, and many other orchestras around the world. However, he has also always been active as a violin and chamber music educator, and famous artists such as Isabelle Faust, Clara-Jumi Kang, Augustin Hadelich, and the Novus Quartet have studied under him. In the past, he was the director of the prestigious Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin, the artistic director of the ARD International Music Competition from 2 to 2000, and a professor of violin and chamber music at the University of Music in Munich. With experience as a performer and conductor, and a career as the artistic director of a competition and orchestra, Poppensensei offers lessons from a multifaceted perspective.
