Former professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and former principal player of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra Flute & Piccolo.Especially with regard to Piccolo, we have established an unparalleled professional teaching method.
Piccolo is usually played by a flute player.Especially after the Romantics, it is no exaggeration to say that the more modern orchestral works, the more music would not be possible without piccolo.However, compared to the flute, the opportunity to receive professional guidance is limited.Rafael Leone, who studied under the legendary French flutist Jean-Pierre Rampal, is one of the few flute players who is also active as a piccolo soloist.After working for the Basel Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, the Oslo Philharmonic, and the Durban Symphony in South Africa, he joined the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in 1972. Since 1989, he has been teaching younger students at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.Leone has established a piccolo professional teaching method that almost no one has ever done.He regularly holds piccolo master classes in Italy, Switzerland and Austria, and in the past has also carried out big projects in Tokyo and Buenos Aires, giving flute players an interest in and an inquisitive mind about the piccolo instrument. As with the flute, he is energetically working to develop a heart that faces Piccolo sincerely.Both the flute instruction and the piccolo instruction are top notch!Anyone who is enthusiastic can take this course.If you want to use both swords, please take a lesson once.
