The name of Matei Yuahim Esk, a former solo fruitist of the "George Enescu" Bucharest Philharmonic Orchestra, a prestigious orchestra named after Romania's leading musician Enescu, may not be well known in Japan. ..That would be natural.Until recently, he was busy appearing on television and radio in his country of origin, Romania.A disciple of Pierre-Yves Alteau, the world's finest superhuman fruitist, and a student of Professor Barbara Giesler Hase of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Matei is holding solo recitals in Romania, France, Spain and Austria. At the request of Romanian National Television and Radio, he has performed solo and with leading orchestras, and has shown a large repertoire until 2003. Since 2003, he has been a solo flutist for the "George Enescu" Philharmonic, and is currently mainly engaged in solo activities.Matei's lessons emphasize the characteristics of the time when his songs were made.His goal is to master the tones that make each piece shine the most, and ultimately to be able to freely use various tones.He is also focusing on how to match with the orchestra, which is very important today.
