Born in Vienna, studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Kurt Schmidt is one of Vienna's leading clarinetists, with the master of the Vienna Philharmonic clarinet section at the time, Ludfur Jetter.At just 21 years old, he became a solo player of the Vienna Tonkünstler Orchestra, but his talent for composing and conducting has been amazing. In 1993 he became artistic director and conductor of the Vienna Clarinet Orchestra, in 1999 he became director and conductor of the Oradea Symphony Orchestra of Romania, and from 2002 he became artistic director of the Lugansk Philharmonic Orchestra in Ukraine.・ Serves as the chief conductor.He is also an experienced educator who has been teaching younger generations since 1970. In 1974, he became a professor of the "Vienna International Music Seminar", which boasts a tradition in Vienna, and later served as a deputy representative of the art department.He has held master classes in various parts of Austria, Japan and South Korea, and has been teaching as a professor at the Lugansk University of Music in Romania since 2003.Much can be learned from Professor Schmidt, who is also an orchestra player and conductor.You should be able to study music from a wide range of perspectives, including not only playing techniques but also song composition and sound balance.In recent years, he has also been active in composition activities (saxophone and composition lessons are also available).
