David Philippe Hefty, a composer whose work was featured at Suntory Hall's summer festival "MUSIC TODAY 21" with the theme of the latest music in the world, is a young musician who leads contemporary music.Not only did he learn how to compose with the world-famous contemporary musician Wolfgang Rihm, he also mastered clarinet playing and conducting. His songs, which are described as "clearly composed and rich in emotional expression," are good at music festivals all over Europe, as well as at prestigious concert halls such as Zurich's Tone Halle and the American Schoenberg Society. In 2001, one of the CD releases, "Counterpoint," won the Swiss "Classic Grammy" award.In addition, his work score published by Kunze Le Mans is distributed worldwide through Peters, and David Philippe Hefty can be said to be a leading composer representing the young generation. ..With several years of teaching experience at the National Conservatory of Music in Zurich, Switzerland, his lessons do not unilaterally teach composition theory, but always go through conversations with students.Discuss every aspect of composition, including rhythm, harmony, and melody.However, please note that computer music is out of scope.
