Ivan Sequart studied at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, which are the highest ranked Czech music powers, and in 1979 became a member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the leading Czech orchestras.Originally he joined the Czech Philharmonic as an English horn player, but soon after turning to oboe he became the principal player, so you can see how outstanding his talent was.He is still active as a chief oboe, but it's not just that, it's amazing.The group ARS, Instrumentalis Pragensis, who won the XNUMXnd Osaka International Chamber Music Competition & Festa, is an ensemble he founded.In Japan, it is often introduced under the name of Prague Baroque Soloists, and has released as many as XNUMX CDs so far.He is also a member of the "Czech Wind Harmony" ensemble of the elite Czech Philharmonic.His activities as a soloist are also energetic.In addition to co-starring with famous Czech and Western orchestras, he has also released a solo album.He taught at the prestigious Czech Brno Conservatory, founded by Janacek, and was a professor of chamber music and orchestra as well as oboe.In other words, it is a sensei who knows the whole of music and performance.
