The sound of the Czech tradition of "the country of strings" taught by the second daughter of the famous Czech violinist Josef Vlach.
Dana Vlachová is the second daughter of Josef Vlach, a famous violinist of the legendary Czech quartet "Vlach String Quartet". Having been exposed to her father's wonderful performances since childhood, she decided to become the same chamber musician as her father, and entered the prestigious Prague Conservatory, which is one of the highest ranked Czech schools. Under his father Josef Vlach and Josef Páleníchek, a great Czech pianist, she thoroughly studied not only violin but also chamber music. By that time, she had a lot of stage experience as a soloist and was also active as a member of a professional ensemble, but in 1992, she joined the world-famous "The Czech Trio" as a new member. It will be. As a violinist in this historic trio, more than a century old, Dana Vlachová continues to bring back the sound of traditional Czech chamber music to the present day. She has held concerts all over the world and recorded many CDs. In addition, she has been active as a judge in international competitions, and in Japan, she served as a special judge in the Aichi International Music Competition in 2003. Teaching at the prestigious Prague Conservatory, she is one of the top professors many students want to study. The basis of instruction is relaxation during the performance. She believes that technology and artistry begin there.
