Hans Peter Stentsl and Volker Stentsul are brothers duo who have been teaming for over 20 years. With his extraordinary teamwork that makes the work of four or two pianos sound like one player playing, and his sharp, intelligent performance like a knife, he is ranked at the top of the world. Both studied at the Stuttgart College of Music and the Frankfurt College of Music in Germany and were taught by Steven Kovasevich, one of the world's leading Beethoven players.In addition, he is also taught privately by master Alfred Brendel. The two have won many international competitions before making their professional debut as a brother duo, and have more than 11 trophies to date. Since his duo debut in 1991, he has continued to perform concerts on world-class stages such as the Royal Festival Hall in England and the Berlin Philharmonie Hall in Germany, releasing a total of more than 14 CDs and DVDs.The two professors teaching the piano duo at the Stuttgart University of Music and the Rostock University of Music in Germany are also top-notch duo leaders.From 1999 to 2008, when he began teaching at Rostock College of Music, the number of top prizewinners in the competition from among his students exceeded 40 in total.
