Learn all about the German clarinet from the principal player of the Berlin German Opera Orchestra, one of Berlin's four prestigious orchestras.
Georg Zeletsuke, who studied the clarinet at the Berlin Conservatory, became the principal solo player of the Salvador da Bahia Symphony Orchestra in Brazil shortly after graduation in 1958, and at the same time taught the clarinet as a local university professor. He returned to Germany in 1960, where he was the principal player of the Braunschweig National Opera Orchestra and later the Hanova Opera Orchestra. Since 1972, he has been transferred to the Berlin German Opera Orchestra, known as one of Berlin's four prestigious orchestras, and has been active as a chief soloist. Having experienced three well-known German orchestras in his 4-year career, he is a super veteran who is familiar with German-style playing.He participated in the Berlin Philharmoniker as a cheering member and performed under the direction of master Karajan.He is also surprised that he has been the chief clarinet of the Bayreuth Wagner Festival Orchestra for 50 years, where he can only be a member of virtuosos from all over Germany.Professor Zeletsuke, who has been teaching at the Berlin University of the Arts for 3 years, is also famous for having a large number of students as professional orchestra players.He is also famous for his unique mouthpiece adjustment method, which produces a very round sound, and many leading artists come to him for adjustment.He will absorb all that know-how.
