In 1993, he presented an attempt to combine hip-hop and jazz at a jazz festival, and in 1990 released a CD in a new genre of the time called modern fusion.In addition, he actively adopted special configurations such as two bass drums and double drums, and added a touch of humor to the jazz scene that had become a rut.Under such circumstances, the activity of "Jazz Composers Big Band JayJay BeCe", which was formed in 1982, has continued for more than 20 years, and 20 CDs have been released.In addition to these avant-garde efforts, he is also active in the field of standard jazz.In recent years, he has released two CDs in the quintet and one in a duo with the piano, so I am amazed at the depth of his ability.Not only a veteran as a musician, but also as a sensei, he is a veteran with more than XNUMX years of experience.At the Jazz Institute Berlin, which was newly established by two prestigious schools in Berlin, the Berlin University of the Arts and the Hans Eisler College of Music, he taught effective practice methods, improvisation methods, and easy-to-understand jazz.
