He is a veteran of vocal music instruction who has taught at several universities in the United States.
Now that he has retired from active duty after appearing on more than 6000 stages, Mark Gruette is focusing on teaching younger generations by making use of his abundant teaching experience of more than 40 years.
Mark Gruette, who has just recently retired from active duty, is a baritone singer who has performed more than 6000 stages in the past. Including the role of Marcello in "La Boheme" and the role of Sharpres in "Madame Butterfly", Count Almaviva in "The Marriage of Figaro", Escamillo in "Carmen", Renato in "Masquerade", and Germont in "La Traviata". It can be said that almost all the major baritone roles of famous operas have been experienced.Also, many recitals of songs have been held so far.He has a repertoire of songs from various eras from England, France, Italy and Germany, and is particularly good at German songs.Not only is he experienced as a professional singer, but as much as, or even more, as a mentor, Mark Gruette's major feature is that he has experience as a singer.Since 1966, he has been teaching other students as a voice instructor at university, and has been an instructor and assistant professor at four American universities: Wichita State University, St. Mary's Junior College, University of Michigan, and Bemidi State University. I've been teaching for over a year.
