After studying abroad, he studied under Gerhard Oppitz, a direct pupil of the master Wilhelm Kempff.Patrick thus exudes both French delicacy and German strength.He won the Paris International Chamber Music Competition, the FUNAPEC International Competition, and the Henrizoge International Competition, and is active internationally in CDs such as Ravel's complete songs, concerts, and music festival production.He has been a professor at the Montpellier National Conservatory of Music, an assistant professor at the Lyon National Conservatory of Music, and is currently a professor at the Ecole Normal Conservatory.
