He won the Munich International Music Competition at the age of 19, the Dos Hermanas International Clarinet Competition at the age of 20, and the American Young Artist Competition at the age of 22.Nicola Baldeil, who has continued to make great achievements in major competitions, won the crown of "Rising Star Artist" selected by the European Concert Hall Association in 2004.With the support of the association, he toured the world and played at prestigious music halls in various places, which was a lot of experience that young players could not easily do.It's no wonder that he was appointed as a professor at the National High Conservatory of Music Lyon, one of France's highest ranked music education institutions, at the young age of 26.He has a wealth of experience as an orchestra player as well as recital experience on top-notch stages such as the Wiener Konzerthaus, Amsterdam Concertgebouw and Carnegie Hall.He was the principal player of the Youth Orchestra led by the world-famous conductor Bernard Heintink, and at the same time was active in the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, after which he played as the principal player of the Orchester National de France until 2007.He has often performed with famous orchestras as a soloist, and released three CDs.Even now, he is actively engaged in teaching and playing activities as a professor.
