He is a popular drummer.In particular, the melody playing method using the basic set of drums can be said to be his proprietary patent.Not only does it take the melody, but it also handles ad lib with a good feeling, so I have no choice but to be stunned.He has been active for more than 10 years and has been a group member of famous artists such as Chris Potter (saxophone / flute) and Kenny Werner (piano).He also participated in the stage of big stars of the past such as Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheny.Currently, he works in two self-groups and at the same time teaches younger students at New York University and The New School.In his lessons, you will be taught everything about drums, from basic techniques that emphasize limb coordination, to advanced techniques such as metric modulation, and to your favorite melody playing techniques.
