Originally from The Hague, the Netherlands, Ben Van Dyck developed his talent early on under the influence of his father, Piet Van Dyck, who was a solo trombone player in the Hague Philharmonic Orchestra.Ben has been a bass trombone player for the Radio Filharmonisch Orchestra for several years before earning a soloist diploma at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague. After 23 years of orchestra life, he was appointed soloist to the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.He has also been a member of the brass band ensemble and the Dutch jazz orchestra for 15 years and has long been a leader in the Dutch music world.He is also enthusiastic about his activities as an educator, and while serving as a professor at the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Rotterdam Conservatory, he teaches master classes throughout Europe, Asia, South America, and holds recitals.The released CDs have also received high praise and are sold all over the world.He also developed a trombone with his younger brother Tyne using traditional methods.The well-balanced range and tone are highly evaluated.He was awarded the International Trombone Association Award in 2003 for his achievements in playing techniques, artistic achievements and raising the global standard for trombone playing.Would you like to learn from sensei, who is a leading figure in the modern trombone world and knows the essence of it?
