Learn from the Amsterdam Conservatory professor, who has the face of the Courtois artist, a soloist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
Pierre Folder, who graduated from the Trombone Department of the Rotterdam Conservatory with honors and graduated from the Dutch Navy band with a major in conducting.His talent blossomed early on, and he gained a seat as a solo trombone player at the Dutch Ballet Orchestra while still in school.After that, since 97, he has been active as a soloist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.He is also a member of the New Trombone Collective, a member of the World Orchestra for Peace, founded by Sir Georg Solti and led by Gergiev.Also, since 2009, he has been active as a conductor of Amsterdam Brass.He is a musician with various faces.As a member of the "Courtois Artist" of the historic brass instrument maker Kurtowa, his characteristic is the expressive power of rich tones.It continues to fascinate the audience on many stages.He also has a face as an instructor, and after serving as a professor at the Rotterdam Conservatory, he is currently teaching younger generations as a professor at the Amsterdam Conservatory.In addition to his busy performance activities, he holds master classes in various countries around the world, including Brazil and Japan, regardless of Europe.As a conductor and trombone player, I am teaching the skills and expressiveness gained from my energetic musical activity experience.He is one of the sensei who is highly satisfied with the students because of the teaching method that clarifies individual issues and draws out their talents.
