Joseph Niederhammer started playing the violin at the age of 6 and turned to the contrabass at the age of 14 after studying the cello at the Linz Music School.At the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, he studied under the famous contrabass player Ludwig Streicher and absorbed a lot.After winning a prize at the Munich International Music Competition, he was a player of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra. At the age of 24, he became the principal player of the Bavarian State Orchestra.Since then, he has served as the chief of the Munich Philharmonic and has performed as a soloist on stages around the world. He is also active as a chamber musician such as "Vienna Ensemble".He has a long career as a teacher, and has been a lecturer at the Music Academy in Munich and the Richard Strauss Conservatory. From 91, he became a professor at the prestigious University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.He is also a visiting professor at Royal Manchester College of Music and has master classes at numerous music festivals.He also has a face as a judge for the Munich International Music Competition.We will take time to face the students, take steps, and have a unique educational philosophy to achieve the goals together, and raise them to the level of "after graduation, you can make a living as a professional player".Learn from the authority of the contrabass world and make your dreams come true.
