Jean-Pierre Kans, a French saxophonist who specializes in classical and contemporary music.He has been studying music since he was a child with his older brother Thierry Caens, who is active as his trumpeter. In 1970, he received the French Minister of Culture Special Award and began full-scale study of the saxophone at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris.After that, he studied musicology at the University of Paris Sorbonne and pursued his own music.He expresses that knowledge in his performance.While deeply involved in contemporary music, he has a wide classical repertoire and has performed as a soloist in concerts and recitals both in France and abroad.He has also performed with many internationally renowned orchestras and has gained experience as a performer.At the same time, he is a saxophone / chamber music instructor aptitude certificate holder at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris, and has a double career as a professor at the Aix-en-Provence Conservatory and the Besancon Conservatory for 20 years.His tireless efforts were described by the French music magazine "DIAPASON" as "with unparalleled enthusiasm, pursuing artistic activities and teaching of saxophone and musicology."He also serves as a judge for the competition and actively participates in CD production.Learn the depth of the saxophone from Jean-Pierre Kans, who has a deep and wide career as a performer and instructor.
