Christian Ostertag was born as the son of a German cellist and a Hungarian pianist.He studied under the talented violinists Valerie Grados and Rainer Kussmaul and was educated as a solo violinist. In 1990, he won a prize at the German Music Competition and started his illustrious career. He participated in the "Young Artist Concert", which is famous for holding 1 concerts per season.Recognized for his ability, he has been invited to many concerts, master classes and music festivals not only in European countries but also in Japan, North America and South America. In 50, he became the concertmaster of the Dusseldorf Symphony Orchestra. In 93, he became the principal concertmaster of the SWR Symphonie Orchestra.His music was described as "sweet, strong and certain" and in 96 he received the "European Soloist Award" from the European Cultural Foundation.As a versatile musician, he is also involved in many CD productions. Since 2001, he has been a professor at the Trosingen University of Music.Currently, he is active as a concertmaster of the Southwestern German Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra and a professor at the Karlsruhe University of Music.Many of the students have found employment in well-known orchestras in Japan and overseas, and are highly evaluated for their ability as instructors. [Eligibility]
-Minimum age: 20 years old
-Students can take lessons by themselves (no need for any assistant / interpreter)
-No problem communicating in English / German

It will be judged by sound source data (DVD / YouTube).
-Total hours: 10-20 minutes
-At least two different song selections, for example;
a) Mozart's Concerto 1st Movement and Virtuoso
b) Romantic Concerto 1st movement and slower movement than classical sonatas
c) 1-1 movements from the 2st movement of the Romantic Concerto and Bach's solo sonata
Furthermore, it was played with piano accompaniment except that it was not a solo song.
