New York State University Potsdam was founded in 1816 as an academy.After that, I went through State Normal School and State Teachers College, and became State University of New York at Potsdam.It is the oldest university in the State University of New York system.Currently, it has 3 schools of science, arts, education, and music, and has about 70 degree programs.A total of about 3,500 students are enrolled in all schools, and classes are held in small classes.
