Cleveland is located on the south shore of Lake Erie, one of the Great Lakes of the United States.Located in this beautiful city, the Cleveland College of Music was founded in 1920 by composer and music educator Ernest Bloch.Since then, we have sent many talented graduates to the world.Over 80% of graduates are active as performers and musicians in orchestras and opera companies around the world, as well as instructors at prestigious music schools.Nearly 40 graduates are currently active as members of the world-class Cleveland Orchestra.Many of the current students are from overseas, and about 25% are foreign students.As you can see from the activities of the graduates, the school has traditionally been known for its thorough music education.Furthermore, in recent years, we have incorporated the latest teaching materials such as computer-based music education.Also, in partnership with Case Western Reserve University, Case University students can study professional performance and music theory at Case University, and students at Case University can study music history, music education, and general education at Case University. became.You can take a well-balanced class, which is very popular with students.It is also attractive that all the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree courses are offered.We also offer study abroad programs at the Paris Conservatory, the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, and the University of Montreal.Performance activities are also active, with more than 100 concerts a year in which instructors and guests participate in addition to students, and more than 300 student recitals a year.Including master classes, the school hosts as many as 500 events annually.We are blessed with opportunities to deepen important encounters and exchanges, such as co-starring with guest musicians.
