The Geneva Conservatory was founded in September 1835 as Geneva's first music school, funded by music enthusiast François Bartroni, who believed that "quality music education is needed to spread music culture in Geneva". .. The number of students increased in the late 9s, and in 1800 we started lessons with leading musicians as instructors.Since then, to this day, the high standards of music at the school can be said to be supported by the world's top artists who are instructors.Due to the reorganization as an educational institution, it is now divided into sections for music school, college of music, and college of technology.The network with the Geneva School of Music Association and the goals and responsibilities prior to the reorganization remain maintained.In addition, one of the attractions is that you can receive guidance from the same instructor as the Geneva University of Music.There are also several Japanese teachers enrolled.

The program consists of two courses, in Cycle 2 where you will learn the basics of practical skills and solfege (listening, rhythm, melody, etc.).In Cycle 1, you will learn more advanced practical skills and music theory (music history, music analysis, music vocabulary, etc.) and aim to obtain a music completion certificate.Practical course majors are piano, harpsichord, organ, violin, viola, cello, contrabass, guitar, harp, recorder, flute, clarinet, bassoon, oboe, sax, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba euphonium, and voice. ..As supplementary lessons, lead creation course for bassoon & clarinet, folk music, old music, improvisation (jazz, popular, latest music), piano improvisation and harmony, accompaniment, musical vocabulary and music analysis, piano first-time performance, drums, There are Traverso and so on.Students also participate in music groups such as vocal and piano duo, chorus, classical ensemble, musical instrument ensemble, orchestra, and stage music to hone their playing skills.
