The Guildhall School of Music consists of two art departments: music and theater.Currently, there are about 2 students enrolled, of which about 800% are international students, from more than 40 countries.The school offers excellent educational programs in the areas of stage technology, professional education and music therapy. Since its founding in 40, it is said to have played a role in art education in London.The Guildhall School of Music moved to central London in 1880 and is now adjacent to the Barbican Center.This is the area where the London Symphony Orchestra is home to the Barbican Hall, Barbican Theater and Pit Theater.You will be able to feel the music of a world-class orchestra directly on your skin.Undergraduate courses offer BMus degree courses in instrumental music, composition, electronic music, and jazz performance.Instrumental music also includes ancient instruments such as recorders, lutes, viols and fortepianos.The graduate program offers master's and doctoral degree courses in unique and innovative fields.There is a performance department that trains you to become a performer, a leadership department that focuses on ensemble and creative activities, a composition department that learns from individual lessons and concerts outside the school, and a music therapy department that learns music therapy and therapy.In addition, a program that allows you to study abroad for a short period in various European countries as an exchange student is also attractive.
The school has one of the largest arts complexes in Europe.The school has a music hall with 196 seats, a recital hall with 80 seats, and a theater with 308 seats. In addition to 41 classrooms and practice rooms, there are plenty of special facilities such as an electronic music studio and a recording sound studio. By 2012, the school will be expanded to Milton Court. Activities will be possible in new facilities such as a 610-seat concert hall, a 225-seat theater, and a 128-seat studio theater.
