The University of Melbourne School of Music was founded in 1891 as a music school attached to the University of Melbourne and became the Faculty of Music in 1926.It is known as the Music Department of Australia's oldest and second largest national university.Currently, there are about 2 students and more than 700 instructors in total at universities and graduate schools.We welcome international students from all over Australia as well as from more than 100 countries around the world.International students make up more than 20% of the total, and are characterized by an international school spirit.
