The Hanover College of Music was founded in 1950 by the integration of the Hanover Drama School and the State School of Music. In 1978, it was approved as a music college offering a PhD.Currently, more than 55 students are studying at the school, including more than 500 international students from 1,400 countries around the world.With an international spirit, it is a university where you can experience new culture on a global scale while respecting the tradition of music education.We offer a wide variety of training and courses to help students decide their own future direction.Since 2009, we have started offering courses that allow you to obtain a bachelor's or master's degree.The bachelor's majors are instrumental music (wind instruments, string instruments, percussion instruments & dimpani, harp, guitar, recorder), voice, piano, conducting (orchestra, chorus, ensemble), jazz rock pop, church music, composition, music education, media.・ Management, popular music, etc.Master's majors are instrumental music, vocal music, opera, chamber music (piano, song, ensemble), church music, conducting (orchestra, chorus & ensemble, opera collection), children & youth chorus conducting, composition, music education, jazz. Rock pop, keyboard instruments (piano, piano duo, chambero, forte piano, organ), media management, media & music, music research & music education, music theory, etc.We also offer doctoral courses in the fields of musicology (musicology, music education, philosophy, communication science).
