Linz, where the Anton Brookner Private University of Music is located, is one of the three major Austrian cities after Vienna and Graz. It was selected as the European Capital of Culture in 2009 and is a city with great cultural development.In recent years, Anton Brookner Private College of Music has been attracting attention as it has made a leap from a private conservatory to a college of music.It has a very long history and developed from the predecessor of the music school, which was established about 200 years ago.The educational system and training methods cultivated through a long tradition have a reputation for steadily developing the talents of students.The university's faculties are broadly divided into three fields: music, dance, and theater. In total, there are about 3 students and about 850 instructors who are also top-notch researchers and artists.While inheriting the traditional techniques of these three arts (music, dance, and theater), we are also focusing on innovative educational content.In addition, the students of each art department aim to create new levels and new styles of art by cooperating with each other, and to reach further heights.Music department classes focus on lessons and training by the highest level musicians.Here, you will not only acquire traditional music, but also absorb new music techniques and knowledge to hone your skills and senses in the current music industry.Majors include not only instrumental music and voice music, but also early music and early music performances such as viola da gamba and baroque violin, conducting / composition / music theory, jazz / improvisation, and music education that can be qualified as a teacher.You can get a BA (Bachelor's) or MA (Master's) degree, respectively.We are also focusing on international exchange and participate in exchange study abroad programs.An environment that is easy for international students to learn is in place.
