The Tchaikovsky Memorial National Moscow Conservatory was established in 1866. In 1940, it celebrated the 100th anniversary of Tchaikovsky's birth and became the current school name.It is one of the three major music institutes in the world, along with the Paris Conservatoire and the Juilliard School, and has made a name for itself as the supreme authority of music education institutions.The school spirit is international and there is a lot of exchange with countries around the world.As the number of international students is increasing year by year, we are putting great effort into the programs and care of international students. You can get a degree or qualification in the area.A one-year preparatory course would be attractive to international students.The entrance examination is only for practical skills.You don't need Russian.In this course, you will study practical skills, Russian, solfege, harmony, music history, and if you pass the completion exam, you will be admitted to the first year of the main university course.
On campus where music activities are active, from chamber music to symphony orchestra, baroque to contemporary music, more than 20 music groups hold concert performances and live activities on a daily basis.The school has a total of three concert halls, including a large hall that can accommodate as many as 1,800 spectators.Also, even in the off-season, music-related events such as public lessons, symposiums, rehearsals and competitions are actively held, and the entire campus is always full of enthusiasm.
