The Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels was founded in 1813 by its predecessor, the Music School. It was officially taken by the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in 1832, and has a long history since then.Well-known Belgian musicians, such as the great musician and educator François Joseph Fetis, have served as successive directors.François Auguste Jeffer and Joseph Jongen also studied at the school. Since 1999, it has developed into a higher education institution along with universities with the aim of internationalizing and improving education in the EU.We are also working with other higher education institutions in the Walloon region (Francophone nations in Belgium) to reach even higher levels.To date, he has produced many musicians, musicologists, and educators.There are many talented international students from Japan.The educational program offers a first course equivalent to a bachelor's degree and a second course equivalent to a master's degree.Majors include wind instruments, string instruments (including harp and guitar), piano, organ, percussion instruments, vocals, old instruments (recorder, bassoon, oboe, flute, natural horn, chambero, violin, cello, viola da gamba), jazz (violin, cello, viola da gamba). Wood bass, flute, guitar, bass, piano, sax, trombone, trumpet, vibraphone, violin, drums) are possible.In the second course, piano accompaniment, fortepiano, and conducting (chorus, orchestra) will be added.Furthermore, in the second course, either a performer or a music instructor is selected as a future goal.It will be attractive to be able to learn more advanced knowledge and techniques professionally.There are differences in subjects depending on the major, but from lectures on ecriture & music analysis, contemporary musicology, hearing training, music history, improvisation, archeology theory, philosophy, psychology, organology, chamber music, orchestra, and so on. We offer a wide range of classes from practice to practice such as seminars and concerts.It enables the development of world-class specialists.
