The history of the University of Trosingen began in 1943 and is known for reflecting not only traditional German music education, but also contemporary and unique endeavors in each course.As a symbol of this, the rhythmic class full of innovative ideas won the "2005 Inventio", which is given to the most innovative course.The school also has a collection of ancient instruments such as keyboard instruments, medieval instruments, strings and wind instruments, and is highly regarded as the center of early music and performance of ancient instruments in the world.It is also a big attraction that there are a variety of ancient musical instrument majors that are unparalleled.If you can learn about the evolution process, history, and tone of your first instrument, you will become more familiar and affectionate about the instrument.Of course, we have a full range of programs in a wide range of fields such as classical music and jazz & pop.In recent years, the traditional diploma system has changed to a world-class university and graduate course, and the educational content has evolved and improved.Most of the classes are conducted in German, but the school, which has a lot of exchange programs, has a lot of support for international students.In the university course, we offer BMus degree courses in contemporary fields such as instrumental music, vocal music, early music, composition, music design, music & movement, singing and movement.In the graduate course, you can get an MMus degree in instrumental music, vocal music, old music, composition, accompaniment, conducting, chamber music, jazz, contemporary, music & movement, music education, music history, music education, and MA degree in organ expert. The MMus course includes a program in partnership with the Amsterdam Conservatory, the Orchestra & Trumpet International Course.In addition, a Dr. phil degree is also available in Musicology and Music Education.In addition, we have programs to meet the diversifying needs of students, such as diplomas and training courses.
