Northeastern University was founded in 1898.It is a private university known for experiential learning and abundant research from a global perspective.Since it is located in the center of Boston, Massachusetts, it is characterized by its world-based, speedy, urban education and research that keeps up with the times.Currently, there are about 50 students from 125 states in the United States and 20,000 countries around the world, and more than 1,000 full-time faculty members. With nine colleges and schools, we offer about 9 undergraduate and 100 graduate courses in a wide range of fields, including arts, media, business, information science, engineering, and law.The Faculty of Music began its music course in 1951 and became an independent faculty in 1967.Rapid growth since 1999, when music technology became available for learning.It is a music science & business educational institution that attracts attention not only to students but also to the industry.The program offers a BA degree in music technology, the music industry, and a BA degree in music history & music analysis.In addition to music technology, interactive media & music, or computer science, double majors are possible.For those who are interested in double majors, consideration is given to making choices after enrollment.Also, for those who want to enjoy playing and musicals, it is attractive that there are plenty of minor courses.You can learn not only practical skills but also basic music and ethnomusicology as a minor.
