Acadia University was founded in 1838.The campus is known for its picturesque beauty, and the Moorhead School of Ulminesota State University in Nova Scotia, eastern Canada, was founded in 1888 as a normal school.Since then, it has grown into Moorehead State Teachers College, State College, and State University, becoming Minnesota State University Moorehead in 2000.Currently, about 7,500 students are enrolled.With an average class size of 23 students, we are proud of our rigorous and high-level lessons with a small number of elite students.Known as the region's first liberal arts and science-based university, it has a reputation for providing guidance for achieving professional goals and developing leaders who can contribute to society.The Faculty of Music provides an excellent learning environment for students to succeed in the future as performers and music educators, as well as in industries such as the music industry and technology.With a thorough education system and award-winning professional professors, it is attractive to acquire creative skills ahead of the times.The degree program is only for university courses, BA degree in music + other majors, BS degree in music education (instrumental music, vocals), performance (instrumental music, vocals, jazz & studio music), composition, music industry (music business, digital Offers BM degree acquisition courses in audio / imaging, film / video, computer music).In addition, we have a graduate-level summer Kodaly Institute.It's one of only 25 institutions approved by the American Kodaly Educators' Association, so it's a must-see for anyone interested in music education.
