The University of Augsburg was founded in 1970 as the latest modern school in the Bavarian region.The campus is close to the center of Augsburg, Germany's oldest city, and is surrounded by many cultural heritage sites, including medieval streets, monuments, museums and churches.It is also known as the birthplace of Leopold, the father of Amadeus Mozart, and is very popular as a tourist destination.In such a deep history and culture, the friendly school spirit of collaborating with colleagues and professors to study and research attracts students from all over the world. The EU exchange program is also active, and I am happy that we have an environment where we can warmly welcome international students from all over the world and lead a comfortable study abroad life.The Leopold Mozart Center was established in 2 by dividing the Nuremberg Augustsburg University of Music into two schools.Since then, it has been characterized by thorough training at the Conservatory level while fulfilling the function of the Faculty of Music at the University of Augsburg. From the 2008/2008 winter semester, we will develop an internationally top-level program that combines various art fields and educational science.We are expanding the base of our students' specialties and paving the way for a great career.
The bachelor's degree offers bachelor's degree courses in elementary school music education, instrumental / vocal music education, wind music conducting, educational science + aesthetic education.In the master's program, it is possible to obtain a master's degree in elementary school music education, core / practical school music education, and music therapy.In addition, we are proud of the wide range of elective courses that deepen our intellect, and we can study fields such as philosophy, history, and psychology as well as jazz / pop / music media, musicology / music theory.Participating in music activities such as concerts, cultural events, and sports classes can be expected to further grow both mentally and technically.
