The L'Aquila Conservatory is located slightly southeast of the city center, adjacent to the beautiful church of Santa Maria di Collemagio.Although it is originally in a quiet environment where you can concentrate and touch music, it was severely damaged by the April 2009 earthquake. The world was worried about the artistic and cultural damage caused by this earthquake, and the G4 Summit in July 2009 was also held in L'Aquila in a hurry. ..With the support of the government and architects from Japan, it is gradually regaining its vitality.
At the school, you can major in instrumental music, vocal music, composition, jazz, conducting, Italian literature, solfege, organ & Gregorio chant, quartet, music aesthetic history, music culture, music therapy, etc., and have a wide knowledge of music. Can be deepened. There are Level I (3-year course / university level) and Level II (2-year course / graduate level) diplomas, both of which are issued at the end of the course, and you can go on to other conservatory or in the field of music. It is effective internationally in employment. In addition, we also hold master classes and seminars as extracurricular lessons.
Music activities such as concert activities and publishing are also active, and we plan and host concerts by inviting prominent performers and concerts by students to connect students with music.Concerts are held not only locally but also in various parts of Italy, giving participants a chance to play an active role on a large stage and increasing their sense of purpose in practice. As for publishing activities, we sell CDs for concerts and publish the magazine MUSIC @ every other month. It is an environment where student dissertations are easily published publicly, and we are actively engaged in music activities other than playing. The activities of the school may be smaller than it should be, but it is the time of the reconstruction that makes us feel a deep and strong passion for music.
