Undergraduate courses offer BMus degree courses in A) Music, B) Music & Sound Recording, C) Music & Professionals, and D) Creative Music Technology. Course A is a well-balanced study of theory / music analysis, music history, performance, composition, and conducting. The B course aims to become a tone master by learning the theory and technology of sound recording and musical knowledge.Professional training, where you can gain experience using professional equipment, is also attractive. The C course has the same content as the A course, with a 30-46 week internship in the music industry.Internship destinations include the London Symphony Orchestra, Schott Music, The Royal Opera House, and HMV. The D course covers a wide range of genres, including contemporary, film music, popular music, sound generation & sampling, electronic music, jazz, dance music, industrial music, and multimedia.Learn computer technology and sound design.There is also a joint degree course in music and mathematics.In the graduate course, we offer MRes degrees in composition, conducting, creative practice, musicology, performance, and popular music with an MMus degree, a diploma, and musicology.In addition, you can earn an MPhil or PhD degree in music research, composition, and performance.
