Campbellsville University was founded in 1906 with the support of the Kentucky Baptist Convention.Since then, we have grown our students into well-educated people with deep humanity and excellent expertise, and have sent them out to the world.The campus is located in a peaceful suburb of Kentucky.It can be said that it is the best way to calm down and work hard at study.It's also 1.5 to 2 hours away from cities like Louisville, Lexington and Nashville, so you'll never get bored.Currently, more than 3,600 students are enrolled. We offer 66 university courses, 17 master's courses and 5 graduate programs. In the 2010 US News & World Report, it was ranked 25th among the best colleges in the United States and one of the most up-and-coming universities in the South with excellent bachelor's programs.The Faculty of Music is known for its educational environment at the level of the Conservatory.For example, excellent faculty members, abundant and blessed performance opportunities, and detailed guidance that can be seen by each student are attractive.In the university course, we offer general music such as performance (instrumental music, vocal music), BA degree in music theory / composition, BM degree in voice music, church music (instrumental music, vocal music), and music education (instrumental music, vocal music).In addition, we offer organ performance and jazz certificate courses.In the graduate course, we offer MM degree acquisition courses in MA degree, performance (instrumental music, vocal music), piano education, conducting, music, church music, and music education. MM Church Music is the only course at a private university in Kentucky.
About 20 music groups such as orchestra, brass band, marching band, chamber music, choir, handbell & chorus, jazz, and instrumental ensemble belong to the ensemble.Concerts with world-famous guest musicians such as Sylvia Kelsenbaum and Andy Narel are also popular with students.
