The University of Nevada, Las Vegas was founded in 1957.Starting with a small classroom, it has grown into a state research institute in a big city.The campus is located in the heart of Las Vegas, a famous tourist destination.Large companies are expanding into the city, attracting students who want to experience the changes in the economy.In this way, about 77 students from 28,000 countries around the world are currently enrolled. Fifteen colleges and schools with more than 220 programs each value lectures and discussions and foster creativity through participatory lessons.
The Faculty of Music is known for its innovative music education and is the source of music culture in the southern part of the state.In order to meet the expectations of the community, students will be motivated and will naturally acquire sociality.The program is of high quality to satisfy motivated students.We would be happy to have a learning environment where each of us can pursue our expertise with excellent faculty members who are enthusiastic about education.In the university course, music (recital, music history & music literature) + BA degree in other subjects, performance (instrumental music, voice music), composition & music theory, jazz research (instrumental music, voice music, composition), music education (instrumental music, voice music, composition) Offering a BM degree acquisition course in (voice music).In the graduate course, MM in performance (instrumental music, vocal music, collaborative piano, jazz), composition & music theory (classical, jazz), conducting (chorus, orchestra, wind music / band), music education (general, Orf Schulwerk) Offers a degree acquisition course.For performance and conducting, it is possible to obtain a DMA degree that aims to be a professional performer or a university lecturer.In addition, you can earn an EdD / PhD degree in research-level music education in partnership with the Faculty of Education.
Musical activities are as good as the world's top shows in Las Vegas, with 27 large and small groups holding more than 100 stages a year.There are also plenty of events such as master classes, workshops, festivals and conferences.At the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, you might happen to meet a star listening to your music.
