Country: Czech Republic
City: Telč

Czech Music Academy brings together world-renowned musicians

In a city that is a World Heritage Site and the pride of the Czech Republic, first-class musicians will help you develop your musical talent in this ultimate master class to help you blossom.
April 2025th, 7- October 9st
The Academy of Music in the historic Czech city of Telč is a special opportunity that will be a turning point in your musical career. The world's best faculty includes performers who teach at prestigious European conservatories, such as the concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, professors at the Conservatoire National Supérieure de Paris, and professors at the Dresden University of Music. You can receive about four private lessons or chamber music instruction in each major of violin, viola, cello, flute, oboe, and horn. With the cityscape of a world heritage site as a backdrop, there are also practical programs such as concert performance opportunities in historical buildings and audition preparation workshops with an eye on professional careers. During your stay at the University Center, a renovated historic Jesuit monastery, you can broaden your international perspective through interactions with musicians from all over the world. In between fulfilling lessons that last from 4am to 9pm, you can also enjoy traditional Czech food culture. There is also a shuttle bus service from Prague Airport, so even those with little experience studying abroad can participate with peace of mind. Not only will you improve your technique, but you will also gain new perspectives on musical interpretation and build connections that will help you in the future. Why not realize your ideal music study abroad experience at the Telč Music Academy for 6 days in July? This is the start of a special time that will pave the way for your future as a musician.
