from March 2024th to May 7st
Musicalta Academy of Music takes place in the medieval town of Roufac, surrounded by nature, in the Alsace wine region of France. The Alsace region, which borders Germany across the Rhine River, is an old town in France that still retains strong German culture. The beautiful flowers that bloom every season are very impressive. The main cities of the Alsace region are Colmar and Strasbourg, and the road that connects these two cities is called the ``Wine Route'', and is also known as a city of delicious wine in France. Roufac is located about 20 minutes by car from Conmar. The course subjects are piano, violin, viola, cello, harp, flute, clarinet, horn, trombone, guitar, voice, organ, choral conducting, composition, and chamber music. The course is divided into two periods, the first and second periods, and the teaching staff will change, but there will be lessons taught by over 2 professors in total. Approximately 70 participants will gather from all over the world to hone their musicality through lessons and lectures, as well as enjoy concerts and leisure activities. As for the practice environment, one practice room can be used for four participants. However, for those who would like to practice more on-site, there is an option to choose a practice room for two people or a private room. Accommodation is a dormitory with rooms for 350 to XNUMX people, each with its own shower and toilet. It's a very convenient location, with lessons, practice rooms, and dining areas all in one place. During the music festival, there will be workshops for bow makers and string instrument makers, as well as workshops for string instrument ensembles, vocal music, and chorus. There are a variety of optional events, some paid and some free. Even if there is a fee, you can attend for free, and the content is very educational. Why not take part in this year's summer course in this city where the normally quiet streets turn into concert halls?
