Bust Dolfer Summer Master Class

City: Oberstdorf

In the summer class where professors from the German University of Music gather, you can feel German music and gain a foothold in studying abroad.

Practically learn how to play ensembles and orchestras from solo performances.Surrounded by quiet nature, concentrate on music and cultivate practical skills to become a professional.
twenty-second to thirtieth of July 2025
Oberstdorf is located in the west of Austria and the north of Switzerland, in southern Germany, overlooking the Alps. This summer course is held in the perfect environment for a European summer getaway. Each instrument will be taught by an excellent team of professors, mainly from Germany, including Professor Maria-Elisabeth Rott of the Detmold University of Music (violin), Professor Konrad Elser of the University of Music Lübeck (piano), and Gaby Pass-van Ried, former principal of the Southwest German Radio Public Orchestra and professor at the University of Music Saar. The courses offered are piano, violin, cello, harp, flute, and clarinet. It is also nice that you can take chamber music not only as a solo, but also if you have a group that has already been organized. Those who wish to take the course will be screened in advance based on written documents, and each professor will decide who will be the students and auditors. During the music festival, those selected will be given the opportunity to gain experience in stage performance through concerts held in the evening. A final concert will be held at the end of the course. This workshop will allow you to fully immerse yourself in a summer of music and performance while experiencing the clean air and simple town life in an environment surrounded by the magnificent natural beauty of the Alps.
