Summer course Training session

Pablo Casals International Music Academy

Country: France
City: Prado

Get inspired by solo performances and chamber music in Casals' exiled town.

A small group of string, tube, piano master classes and chamber music courses held during the Pablo Casals Festival in Prado, France. For music high school and music college levels.
from March 2020th to May 8st
This is a seminar for advanced players held in Prado, a French town where Pablo Casals was in exile during the Spanish Civil War.It varies every year, centered on the professors of France's highest ranked music school, the Paris National Conservatory of Music and the French regional music schools, but it is a top-notch sound from all over Europe and America such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United States and the United Kingdom. It features a strong group of instructors gathered by the professors of the University Conservatory. The lessons are in master class format and last for about 8 weeks. The maximum number of students per class is eight. It is a nice point that each and every one of us can be taught in detail and abundantly in a small class. It's also a great opportunity to get to know the world's top professors and students. In addition to receiving direct instruction about XNUMX to XNUMX times during the period, you are free to attend other classes. In addition to teaching solo performances, the focus on chamber music is also a major feature of this class. Not only are group participation in string trios and quartets, piano trios and quartets, and wind ensembles welcomed, but students who participate in master classes individually also join the locally formed ensemble (additional). You can take lessons (at no charge). After the document screening in advance, there is a level check audition on site, but if you prepare properly, you can think that if you are at a technical level that has passed the document screening, you can pass it first. In the latter half of the class, chamber music concerts by students are scheduled XNUMX to XNUMX times, so there are plenty of opportunities for performance.Students who are planning to participate in the international competition will be given consideration so that they can play the songs in the competition. The town of Prado, which is lively at the Casals Festival during the period.Students can enter the concert for free. Since the number of people per course is small, the capacity will be reached at a fairly early stage. If you wish, we recommend that you apply early. It is highly recommended as a class where you can be busy and immerse yourself in music in a European atmosphere.
