Summer course Training session

Nagold Summer Music Workshop (formerly Altensteig Summer Music Workshop)

City: Nagold

Experience the gifted education of German music in Nagold, the northern part of the Black Forest in Southern Germany.

A class that anyone from children to music college students to amateur adults can take.Ideal for music college entrance exams, audition preparations, competitions, and concerts.Let's use it for musical instrument performance, composition, and music education.
twenty-second to thirtieth of July 2025
In the quiet city of Nagold, located in the south-southwest of Germany, in the north of the Black Forest, there will be a seminar on violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, piano accompaniment, and chamber music. In addition to solo lessons, there will be group chamber music lessons, chamber orchestra rehearsals, and stage performances. There will also be lectures on how to bring out the best sound from each instrument, and opportunities to perform to present what you have learned, so it will be a good opportunity to test how the German audience will react to the results of your daily practice. The faculty consists of active musicians such as Swedish-born international violinist Ulf Wallin and violinist Ailen Pritsch, who won the 2014 Long-Thibaud International Competition, as well as Sensei, who has a high reputation in music education. Another attractive feature of this seminar is the good practice environment. Accommodation will be in a student dormitory, and rooms will be assigned by the seminar office. Since it is a student dormitory, many students stay together, so it is a safe environment to stay in. The instrumental course is open to both adults and children, and is recommended not only for those who want to become performers, but also for music teachers and those who want to become music teachers in the future, as it is an opportunity to find new teaching methods. Participants should prepare at least two pieces by different composers and come to the lesson. For children, one piece of work at the appropriate level is sufficient. Nagold is a region blessed with greenery and nature, so you can enjoy sports such as table tennis, swimming, walking, and jogging in your free time. This is also a seminar where you can fully experience the atmosphere and air of Europe.
