Lübeck, which belongs to Schleswig-Holstein, the northernmost part of Germany, has a remnant of the Middle Ages.A port city located in the Bay of Lübeck on the Baltic Sea, it flourished in the seafood trading and shipbuilding industry during the height of the Hanseatic League in the 13th and 14th centuries.There are many beautiful old castles and churches in the city, and the old town surrounded by rivers and canals is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Located in the heart of the old town, the Lübeck Academy of Music is located in a residential area with shops and fine buildings, and a well-equipped study and living environment.Held as part of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, this summer course is a continuation of the orchestra academy's summer course organized by Leonard Bernstein and others for young performers. It is characterized by being done in.Piano, violin, viola, cello, trombone, and vocal music are offered, and you will learn music with professional guidance.Those who wish to take the course will be judged by each professor in advance by CD or DVD.If you are unfortunately unable to become a student due to the screening, you can participate in the high-level course as an auditor.Accommodation is a youth hotel with meals.In a shared room with other students, you should be able to connect and make friends all over the world.It may be a bridge to Europe.During the period, the songs will be decided based on the performance level, and concerts by the master course participants will be held within the framework of the music festival.You can fully enjoy summer sightseeing along with the seminars and music festivals.For example, you can sail around the canals of Lübeck, go to the beaches and casinos facing the Baltic Sea, or visit Travemünde, a luxury resort with sailboats and resort facilities.In addition, if you visit Lauenburg Lake, a natural park crossed by one of Germany's tourist routes, the "Old Salt Route", or take a short trip to Holstein-Switzerland with its beautiful countryside, you can enjoy a fulfilling summer in northern Germany. It is a course full of charm that you can spend.

* Usually, it will be decided by the middle of June whether or not to take the course for each professor.

* Each room will be assigned by the seminar secretariat.Usually it will be a double room or a triple room with other participants.
