Summer course Music study abroad for children Training session

Ost West Musik Fest

Country: Austria
City: St. Polten

A master class that incorporates both Vienna, Russia, and the two major classical schools.

As a finishing touch or level-up lesson for music high school and music college students aiming to become professionals. Also, to develop children's rich humanity. A one-week master class in St. Polten, Austria.
April 2024th - May 7th, 22
A major highlight of this summer seminar will be a master class that incorporates both the Viennese style, which is characterized by its delicate and soft sounds, and the Russian style, which has a wide range of tones and evokes the vast expanses of Russia, which can be said to be the two major trends in classical music. It's attractive. Musicians who teach at top music schools in Eastern and Western Europe, such as the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts and the National Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Ukraine, as well as internationally renowned performers, will teach a wide range of students, from adults to children. This course, which has been held for more than 2 years, is well known not only in Europe but also in various parts of Asia, and more than 20 students from all over the world have participated so far. There is no specific audition for participation, but the course content is aimed at professionals and those aiming to improve their level. Violin, piano, and children's violin and piano instructors each teach a master class that lasts about a week, and during this period, depending on the period and instructor, they will give approximately 1,500 minutes of private lessons each time. You can take it about 1 times. In addition to the master class, there is plenty of time to practice. You can practice the piano for about 1 hours a day in the practice room of the music school where the lessons are held. If you play a stringed instrument, you can generally practice at your accommodation. Another great feature is that students will have the opportunity to perform in various concerts depending on their technical level and progress. The venue, St. Polten, the capital of Austria's Lower Austria, is located near the Wachau Valley, a scenic spot on the Danube River that is a World Heritage Site. There are many must-see tourist attractions in the area, such as monasteries and castles.
*You can also participate in the violin or piano competition held at the same time as the seminar for an additional fee (age restrictions apply). Please contact an and vision counselor for details.
